Bryan Knipe spent ten years as a software engineer and technical architect (Unisys, Thomson, Associated Financial Group), then eleven years at Optum (UnitedHealth Group) running analytics businesses: he built a managed analytics business, led a nine-figure deal in which a large health system outsourced its analytics organization to Optum, ran a $200M+ P&L as COO/CFO, and set up enterprise-wide evaluation of AI/ML investments at UnitedHealth Group. Since 2023 he has served as interim CEO of a digital health company, advised early-stage healthcare companies, and designed and built RaiseForge, a production AI platform (grounded AI outputs, per-run cost caps, row-level security, eight federal data sources).
